The short version

The site’s own code does not use analytics, advertising, tracking pixels, cookies, client-side storage, accounts or a signup form. It does not load YouTube or other external services automatically. It does not ask for personal information.

What is collected by this site

Nothing is collected by the site’s own code. There is no client-side storage, no marketing tag, no social media pixel and no third-party font or script request.

The site is hosted on Cloudflare Pages. Cloudflare may keep standard technical logs such as request time, requested URL, browser type and IP address, and may apply security measures at the edge, under its own policies. Those measures are controlled by the host, not by this website’s code, and the site does not use them for analytics.

External links

Links to YouTube, Substack and other external services take you to other services. Those services may set cookies, collect usage data or use their own analytics. They are contacted only when you choose to follow a link. Their privacy policies apply once you leave this site.

The five archive films are not embedded. No external player is loaded in advance.

Downloads

Downloading the sample PDF does not require an account or an email address. The hosting provider may record the request in its standard server logs.

Email and correspondence

This site does not host a mailing list, contact form or signup. The Contact page reproduces the historical obfuscated email address from the original Ghost site.

Children

The site is intended for a general philosophical and literary audience. It does not knowingly collect personal information from anyone, including children.

Your choices

You can read the entire site without accepting cookies or creating an account. If you prefer not to contact third-party services, simply remain on this site. Browser settings can block scripts, fonts and external requests without removing the site’s text.

Changes

If hosting, embedded media, analytics or correspondence tools change, this page will be revised. This page describes current practice and is not legal advice.
